This guinomi features Minowa's iron-based kaki-yuu glaze in temmoku style.
The pictured guinomi features mostly reddish spots. Because of variations in firing, other temmoku-style guinomi by Minowa may tend more toward a bluish hue, and some may feature hints of what Minowa-san refers to as "yuzu no hada", referring to the bumpy texture of the Japanese citrus fruit yuzu.
