My favorite donabe in our current collection, this nabe has an elegant simplicity with a lid glazed with a greenish gloss set against a deep black matte. The outer perimeter of the nabe bowl is reminiscent of wood fired ware, with a simulation of a matte to shiny ash glaze, but the pot is fired to flameware temperatures. The inside of the bowl has a white finish. This 9.75" nabe is suitable for serving about 4 people.

Safety notes: This pot is produced as flameware, and is suitable for use in cooking applications with various heat sources. However, just like cooktop safe glassware, you must take certain precautions to cook safely with ceramic pots.

• Do not subject to sudden shock by exposing to cold liquid or cold surfaces when the pot is hot.
• Use a moderate flame.
• We recommend using a heat diffuser when using with electric cooktops.
• Do not heat while empty.
