YuzuMura.com generally sends domestic shipments with FedEx or US Postal services. For international shipments, we can also use parcel post or express mail services.
We try to make the shipping costs as low as possible while maintaining product integrity. Some perishable or fragile food products may require different shipping methods. If shipping requires special handling, we generally make a note of that in the product description.
Here is a description of our available shipping methods:
FedEx Ground: Usually delivers in 2-5 days. Deliveries Monday through Friday.
FedEx Home Delivery: 2-5 day delivery time specializing in residential delivery. Delivers Tuesday through Saturday.
FedEx 2-Day. Delivers by the second business day after the order is shipped.
FedEx Overnight Standard: Delivers one business day after shipped with an afternoon delivery commiment.
FedEx Overnight Express: Delivers one business day after shipped with a morning delivery commitment.
FedEx International Ground: Available for shipments to Canada, provides a shipment to Canada with only a slight premium over US-destined FedEx deliveries.
FedEx International: Delivers within 3 days of being shipped to most destinations.
Additional shipment methods for international deliveries may be arranged by calling or emailing us.
US Postal Priority: Domestic shipping, 2-3 days for most addresses.
US Postal Express: Domestic shipping with 1-2 days guaranteed for most addresses.
US Postal Media: You may only use this shipping method for CDs, books, and media.
YuzuMura.com inspects all items prior to shipment. All products are insured for at least the value of the shipment. We carefully pack each item to minimize the risk of damage. If you obtain a damaged product, please make a claim to the shipping carrier.
We generally respond to orders within 24 hours of receipt. YuzuMura.com is, however, a very small company, and when the staff is away due to business travel, it is possible that your shipment will be delayed. If this is the case, you will receive an automatic notification and you will have the option to cancel or accept the delayed shipment.

For customers sending items outside of the US, customs duties, GST, VAT and other taxes billed by your government, if any, are your responsibility. Prices on our web site do not include customs or taxes for anything shipped outside of the United States. We are unable to estimate the taxes or duties on products shipped outside of the US because the rules for each country are different. You must pay any bills assessed by the freight carrier or your government.
If you fail to pay the charges assessed and the carrier demands payment from us for customs brokerage, duties, or other fees, you authorize us to bill your credit card for the amount assessed by the carrier, plus a 3.5% transaction fee.
